Your generous donation helps provide education and resources to children in need.
Student Cultural Immersion
For 2027 and beyond, our team is building a cultural immersion opportunity at Transcend. We are seeking long-term collegiate partners who are interested in giving their students a once-in-a-lifetime travel opportunity.
Strengths of Cultural Immersion Program
•Transformative opportunity for cultural immersion and personal growth beyond the scope of traditional athletic development
•Students will witness firsthand the realities of life in under-resourced communities and will gain a broadened worldview
•Challenges student-athletes to step outside their comfort zones, fostering resilience, empathy, and adaptability as they prepare for the transition from university life into adulthood
•Exposure to global inequities and diverse ways of living encourages critical reflection on privilege, purpose, and personal values
•A partnership aims to develop not only stronger athletes, but more grounded, globally aware individuals ready to make meaningful contributions to their communities and the world
Trips can be designed to have a focus on ministry or running. The High Altitude Training Center is located less than 2 hours away in Iten, and the Cheragany/Kitale area of Kenya is a popular location for the very best runners of Kenya to train.
If your school or church is interested in a potential short-term trip to Transcend Talent Academy, please email kenyankidsfoundationusa@gmail.com.
